Jillian Michaels is famous for being the tough trainer for NBC’s The Biggest Loser. The fitness guru who shares her expertise in the reality weight loss competition also promotes healthy eating. So, we got excited when we learned that there is a Jillian Michaels-approved BBQ Chicken Burrito recipe.

Here’s one of three go-to recipes that the trainer eats and also recommends to her clients who have weight loss goals. This burrito recipe contains a lot of fiber and at least 12 grams of protein. Fiber-rich foods digest at a slower pace, while protein stabilizes blood sugar. Both these nutrients stave off cravings for high-carb, sugary foods.

While burritos may not be typically considered a diet food, this particular recipe has a low calorie count because it makes use of fresh beans and whole grain tortillas. However, if you do not quiet agree to the taste of whole wheat, you can substitute these with corn tortillas, which are made from corn and water.
