The Multi-talented James Corden

Prior to hosting The Late Late Show, Corden was already known for his humor, sharp wit, and big-room personality. He is also a writer and executive producer for the show. His current popularity is proof that the CBS show runners did not make a mistake in their decision to cast the funny man to succeed the late night show. In fact, Corden’s introduction of the Carpool Karaoke has garnered over a hundred million views and is the biggest YouTube viral video of 2016.

“Whatever it is, I just loved it and felt at my absolute happiest when I was performing for people. And if that’s what you want from a job, then this is the best job you could ever do.”

Corden played the lead role in the hit comedy play One Man, Two Guvnors, and his performance won him a Tony as well as the Outstanding Actor in a Play from the Drama Desk Award.

“I just wanted to perform. I just wanted to perform in whatever capacity, whether it was acting, singing, dancing, comedy – whatever it was, I just loved it and felt at my absolute happiest when I was performing for people.”
