By  |

New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady attributes his career success to a restrictive diet that Gisele Bundchen follows. Inspired by his wife, Brady follows a no-white food, no-caffeine diet philosophy.

Bundchen follows a diet that is currently in vogue among celebrities, which combines the usual vegetarian diet with the elimination of certain food items. According to the supermodel, weight loss is just one of the many health benefits of a plant-based diet.

No-White Food, No-Caffeine Diet

The restrictive diet is similar with most weight loss diets. Basically, there are a lot more food items that you can’t eat and less that you can eat. For their diets, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen avoid red meat, processed foods, caffeine, refined flour, and sugar, mushrooms and fungi, and MSG. Nightshades such as sweet and white potatoes, tomatoes, paprika, peppers, and eggplant are also eliminated from the diet. Strawberries are also avoided.

Following the “no-white food, no-caffeine” diet has made her husband feel better and less achy, according to the Brazilian supermodel. Brady also has more energy, according to his wife. Eliminating MSG and sugar from one’s diet can help prevent swelling and pressure in joints and muscles. Avoiding red meat and refined starch also prevents bloating. Indeed, eating efficiently by decreasing your intake of carbs and increasing protein intake is the healthy way to go.
