1. Running with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain
Considered the most extreme experience involving livestock, Pamplona’s Running of the Bulls every July offers an exciting chance of getting gored in Europe.
While the risk of getting injured is very real, deaths are relatively rare. In the 2016 event alone, more than 100 sustained serious injuries.
2. The Superclásico in Argentina
Billed as the most extreme experience involving a beautiful game, The Superclásico game draws the most crazed fans in South America. It is also dubbed as the “biggest derby in the world” and ranked as the “biggest club rivalry in world football” by The Daily Telegraph.
The River Plate vs. Boca Juniors is the biggest rivalry match in Buenos Aires, Argentina. These two teams and their fans despise each other. No matter what the teams’ standings in the league may be, the match always has the most electric atmosphere (and there’s as much chance of injury as if you run with the bulls in Pamplona!).
3. Formula Rossa in Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
The most extreme experience involving theme parks is the world’s fastest roller coaster. The Formula Rossa Roller Coaster in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, clocks in at 149mph and whips riders around a 1.3-mile course in just 92 seconds. In fact, due to the high air speeds and the increased risk of impact with airborne particulates or insects, all riders are required to wear protective glasses, which are similar to those used during skydiving.
The Formula Rossa surpassed Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure as the world’s fastest roller coaster, but the latter has retained its title as the tallest roller coaster in the world.
